Job Summary

As a Residential Electrician, you’ll provide safe, professional electrical services to homeowners. You’ll troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and replace residential electrical systems while following all local codes and manufacturer specifications. You’ll also communicate clearly with customers by presenting repair options and pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to residential electrical service calls
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems
• Install and replace electrical components
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Recommend upgrades or replacements when appropriate
• Explain pricing and service options to customers
• Accurately complete service documentation
• Collect payments upon job completion

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of electrical experience
  (3+ years preferred — higher pay available)
• Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in enclosed spaces and residential environments
• Tech-savvy and able to use mobile service software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be local or able to commute to Roanoke, VA 24018
